Job Summary

Pay rate - $20/hour.
Immediately hiring a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide respite care for a young child with autism. The ideal candidate will be patient understanding and knowledgeable about the unique needs of children with autism providing both emotional and physical support while allowing the family some much-needed respite.
The assignment includes assisting with daily routines feeding personal care and playtime to ensure the childs safety and well-being at all times. 4 or 8 hour shifts on varying days Fri Sat or Sun. Total 16 hours per month.

Responsibilities
- Follow the clients care plan prepared by our registered nurse.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
- Report client changes in condition to the agency RN / Director of Clinical Services
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- A CNA license or...
- HHA Certificate (minimum 40 hours)or...
- the ability to pass an HHA competency exam and demonstrate all required skills.
- Minimum ONE year experience as a CNA or HHA.
- Meet AHCAs requirements for home health agency employment.
