What will I be doing

As the Public Relations Manager you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Media Relations

Cultivate and maintain strong strategic relationships with journalists bloggers and key influencers to enhance brand visibility and secure positive media coverage.

Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries ensuring timely responses and consistent accurate messaging aligned with the companys values and communication strategy.

Strategic Communication

Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that align with the hotels brand identity and business goals.

Craft compelling press releases media kits and communication materials to effectively highlight the hotels initiatives milestones and achievements.

Event Promotion

Partner with marketing and sales teams to coordinate and elevate hotel events campaigns and brand initiatives across multiple channels.

Plan and execute press visits media tours and familiarization trips to effectively showcase the hotels unique offerings and guest experiences.

Crisis Management

Develop and implement proactive crisis communication strategies to effectively manage potential issues that could impact the hotels reputation.

Serve as the primary liaison for public and media communications during emergencies ensuring timely transparent and consistent messaging.

Digital Presence

Lead the hotels social media strategy in partnership with the marketing team ensuring cohesive branding engaging content and consistent messaging across all digital platforms.

Proactively monitor online reviews and guest feedback fostering positive engagement and swiftly addressing concerns to uphold the hotels reputation and enhance guest satisfaction.

Stakeholder Engagement

Foster strategic relationships with key stakeholders including local businesses tourism boards and community organizations to enhance the hotels visibility and influence.

Represent the hotel at industry events networking functions and public forums serving as a brand ambassador and strengthening community ties.

Reporting & Analytics

Track and evaluate the performance of public relations initiatives delivering timely and insightful reports to senior management.

Analyze campaign outcomes and market trends to identify strategic opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced brand impact.

What are we looking for

A Public Relations Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitudebehaviours skills and values that follow:

Demonstrated success in managing public relations within a 5-star or ultra-luxury hospitality environment.

Familiarity with launching new hotel properties including media outreach brand positioning and stakeholder engagement during pre-opening phases.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with a flair for crafting compelling narratives and press materials. Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are an asset.

Strong network of media contacts across luxury lifestyle travel and hospitality sectors.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists influencers and key opinion leaders.

Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and digital content strategies.

Skilled in using analytics tools to monitor engagement optimize campaigns and report on performance.

Ability to develop and execute innovative PR campaigns that align with the hotels brand identity and resonate with target audiences.

Adept at handling sensitive situations with discretion ensuring consistent messaging and protecting brand reputation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects events and deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Experience working cross-functionally with marketing sales operations and executive leadership to ensure cohesive communication strategies.

Strategic thinker with a focus on measurable outcomes media Return on Investment and continuous improvement of PR initiatives.
