OurProduct Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)is one of the most innovative divisions within PSLD as within all of Caterpillar our priority is ourcustomers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly everyelement of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities technology and operational excellence.

PSLD is hiring a Product Support Operations ConsultantinGlobal Dealer Service Operations within Global Service. As the Product Support Operations Consultant (Drive Train) you will be the Drivetrain Subject Matter Expert collaboratingwithinGlobal Dealer Service. You will support dealers in the drivetrain rebuild space to improve efficiency and quality ofcomponentrebuilds for thecomponentrebuild support positionimpactsthe success of the Caterpillar Services Division. Yourexpertisewill help improve the companys ability to meet customer expectations improve quality reducecostsand increase profits.

What You Will Do:

Develop &maintaincomponentrebuild playbooksutilizingCaterpillar documented instructions.
Perform drivetrain assessments/reviews with the field support engineers at dealercomponentrebuild facilities when requested.
Integrate Continuous Improvement and Best Practice ideas as part of your business activities.
Reviewdealerrebuild assessmentsidentifyinggaps and missing data. Follow up with COE PSORs and dealers toidentifythe areas of opportunity.
Implement and driveutilizationof Cat Inspect and Cat Inspect Analysis by creating forms to support dealer rebuild capabilities andprovidetools to support dealer/customer interface.
Maintaindealer key performance indicator metrics by collectingpublishingand sharingon a monthly basis.
Manage the Component Rebuild website.
Review and encourage the use of dealer practices
Support drivetrain Reuse & Salvage projects byidentifyingdealer practices and working with engineering & support teams on specific projects supporting the reuse of Caterpillar product.

Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability toestablishand maintain healthy working relationships with dealers and peers.


Strategic Thinking:Knowledge of the importance of big picture thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness toidentifyandmaintainfocus on key success factors for the organization.


What Will Set You Apart (Top Candidates Will Have/Preferred Skills):

Four-year engineering or technical degree or equivalent job-related experience
3 years of professional level experience.
Previousdealer facing product support experience.
Experience withrebuildor engineering of drivetrain components.

Summary Pay Range:

$95640.00 - $143520.00
