Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: South Riding VA 20152
Job Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 a.m. 2:45 p.m.
Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Behavior Technicianfor an exciting job in South Riding VA.

Responsibilities:

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
Accurately collect record and report data on client performance and progress.
Assist in teaching communication social interaction and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Manage and appropriately respond to challenging behaviors using approved intervention strategies.
Provide support in home school or clinical settings as assigned.
Communicate effectively with supervisors caregivers and multidisciplinary team members regarding client status and updates.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
Participate in required ongoing training supervision and performance reviews.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in psychology education or related field preferred).
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Strong communication patience and observational skills.
