WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Primary function of this position is to clean sanitize and neaten common and office assigned areas of the facility in a timely manner according to a set of schedules and in emergency and non-emergency situations. Observing all safety regulations and ensure al GMP and quality standards are met and maintained.

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations
• Perform a safety check on equipment to be used in the daily operations and ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly
• Sweep mop scrub and vacuum floors of common areas of buildings using cleaning solutions tools and equipment
• Clean or polish walls ceilings windows equipment and building fixtures using steam cleaning equipment scrapers brooms and variety of hand and power tools as required
• Clean restrooms fixtures stalls floors and walls using solvents brushes rags and power cleaning equipment
• Re-fill paper towel dispenser replace tissue rolls fill liquid soap dispenser and air fresheners
• Clean and vacuum office area floors dust furniture water plants clean coffee area and replace light bulbs as required
• Gather and empty trash from all office and common areas and place in proper receptacle
• Performs minor routine painting plumbing electrical maintenance and related activities
• Dusts furniture walls machines and equipment
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in container to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Requisition supplies and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance duties and store in proper area
• Notify management personnel concerning need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Sets-up arrange and remove decorations tables chairs etc. for events meetings and social functions
• Move items between departments manually or using hand-truck or carts
• At end of shift secure all equipment complete all required paperwork and perform general housekeeping and clean-up as required

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledgeable in basic math skills
• Able to use the equipment and tools available to safely perform the job in all assigned areas of the facility
• Have a good understanding of basic chemical interactions and common precautionary procedures and actions
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to drive a golf cart.
• Must complete all safety and food awareness training.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have High School/GED or six months to one year experience in related field or combination of both education and experience
• Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includesmaintaininga clean driving record which will be verified through a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial and sanitation work experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Environmental exposure wet/cold (40Fahrenheitor below) or humid/warm conditions (95Fahrenheit)
• Material exposure moving mechanical parts
• Occasional exposure to fumes airborne particles and vibrations
• Ability to lift push pull and/or carry between 50 to 55 lbs.
• Ability to stand forlong periodsof time in an upright position walking on both even and uneven surfaces
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders scaffolding using 3-point contact on a regular basis
• Ability to stoop crouch and kneel on a regular basis
• Ability to use hands and arms to grasp manipulate and handle objects in one position for an extendedperiod.

HOURS & WORKDAYS:

1st Shift - 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM;Monday through Friday Weekends and holidays may be mandatory based on business needs. Rotation workday/time off schedules may be mandatory depending on department/business needs.
