Test Rig Technician
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: 32000 - 35000
Hours: Monday to Friday Full-Time

Syntech are looking for a number of Test Rig Technicians to join a large TIC services business (Test Inspection & Calibration). This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.
Test Rig Technician duties:
- Calibrate electrical temperature load force flow and pressure measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards
- Ensure work is carried out on time by following job sheet instructions and schedules
- Support and participate in audits both internal and customer-driven
- Develop and audit calibration procedures and uncertainty budgets
- Carry out additional technical tasks in line with your capability with training provided where required
Test Rig Technician knowledge:
- Electrical diagnostic background
- A formal qualification in engineering or extensive hands-on calibration experience
- Understanding of calibration principles and metrology best practices
- Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Experience in jig/tool recertification is desirable
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Ability to work professionally in a customer-focused environment
