How youll contribute

AElectro Cardiographer (EKG Tech) who excels in this role:

• Performs 12 Lead EKGs and applies Holter monitors to patients.

• Performs editing and processing of EKG tracings for interpretation by physician.

• Reviews patient history and physicians orders.

• Educates patients regarding procedures equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation. Enter new data as needed.

• Submits ECGs and other examinations to physician for interpretation.

• Demonstrates/explains effective and safe use of all equipment used in performance of duties including cleaning maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.

• Handles outreach customer services including ECG transmissions Holters and Stresses.

What were looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Associates degree (Preferred)*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

• Certified Cardiographic Technician (Preferred)

• 1 year related experience (Preferred)

• Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
