The Compliance Partner is a new position working in the Compliance Governance and Risk Department at Sparkways Early Learning. This experienced and respected team works to ensure our programs meet regulatory requirements including National Quality Standards and Child Safety.
- Provide guidance support and expertise in compliance systems incident reporting auditing and data management
- Up to $85000 per year with not-for-profit salary packaging to increase your take-home pay
- Full time permanent position
- Hybrid work regular travel to services and meetings with your regular work done from your home office
- Travel mileage reimbursement provided for regular travel to services across Melbourne you will need a car and licence to successfully meet the requirements of the role

What you will do
- Provide guidance and support to staff via the Compliance Desk (phone/email)
- Contribute to internal audits the facilitation of Assessment & Rating visits and compliance projects
- Assist in serious incident reporting child safety investigations and government liaison
- Develop maintain and enhance policies procedures and resources; compliance information and resources on the SharePoint Staff Hub; and data for organisational reporting
- Provide backup support to the OH&S Advisor
We want to meet you
- You have applied experience in compliance systems reporting auditing and the ECEC regulatory frameworks
- You have a passion for helping colleagues understand and follow the Child Safety Standards and the Early Childhood Education and Care regulations
- You are known for using your enthusiasm energy and knowledge to support and influence others
- You have experience and proficiency in professional writing of guidance reports and policies
- You have experience and proficiency in data gathering and analysis Excel is your friend!
- You have tertiary level qualifications with minimum Diploma ECEC
