Thomas Bragg & Sons Funeral Directors - Shirley currently have a vacancy for a CasualFuneral Arranger.
Caring and organised our Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of our team; offering a warm welcome and guiding our families through the whole funeral process. They couple their incredible interpersonal and listening skills with an eye for detail and accurate administrative skills.
As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time. They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day.
Our Funeral Arrangers also help with organising our local community and charity activities such as coffee mornings charity walks pub quizzes and more.
Being a Funeral Arranger can be an opportunity to make a real difference during a difficult time for people and there is a chance to progress into other roles such as Diary Manager or Funeral Director with the right skills and determination.
For this vacancy we are not necessarily looking for previous experience in funeral arranging. Just good organisational and administrative skills and a natural empathy for people.
