We are looking for a Continuing Airworthiness Engineer to join our clients team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing technical integrity safety and performance of their fleet. This position is engineering-focused requiring technical understanding analytical capability and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving aircraft reliability and efficiency.

Our client is a business jet operator based in Malta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate engineering assessments of aircraft systems structures and components to ensure ongoing airworthiness and performance optimization.
- Review and develop aircraft maintenance programmes ensuring they are technically sound and reflect operational experience and manufacturer recommendations.
- Perform technical evaluations of defects damages and recurring issues identifying root causes and implementing corrective or preventive actions.
- Liaise with OEMs Design Organisations and maintenance providers to develop and approve engineering repairs modifications and service bulletin incorporations.
- Manage the timely assessment and embodiment of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) Service Bulletins (SBs) and other engineering instructions.
- Conduct aircraft reliability and trend analysis providing technical insights to improve system reliability and reduce unscheduled maintenance.
- Supervise the control accuracy and integrity of all technical documentation and records ensuring configuration and maintenance data remain fully up to date and compliant.
- Evaluate and assess Engineering Orders Technical Instructions and repair documentation ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with Part-M / Part-CAMO standards.
- Provide engineering support during aircraft deliveries imports/exports and maintenance check planning.
- Contribute to safety investigations and root cause analyses ensuring findings translate into technical and procedural improvements.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven experience in aircraft systems engineering maintenance engineering or continuing airworthiness roles.
- Strong understanding of EASA Part-M / Part-CAMO requirements and aircraft engineering principles.
- Experience in supervising technical documentation and records management systems.
- Excellent ability to interpret and apply OEM manuals SBs ADs and engineering data.
- Proficient in technical problem-solving failure analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Independent and self-driven able to manage engineering tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with engineering teams OEMs and regulatory authorities.
- A proactive safety-oriented approach with strong attention to technical detail.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
