General Summary:

The Assembly Electrical Tester position is responsible for insuring proper function and longevity of all units.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify work to be performed via MII work center priority
  • Conform to all safety guidelines while operating and performing duties
  • Assemble finished goods (Mechanical and Electrical)
  • Prep for unit testing which includes high voltage electrical hookup tach light preparation and accelerometer installation
  • Distinguish between all types of fan arrays and optional accessories currently in production and prepare them for testing accordingly
  • Record fan RPM and amperage readings
  • Must be knowledgeable and able to perform other jobs in other pay grades
  • Responsible for training new team members
  • Willing to flex between work centers and perform work where needed
  • Actively communicates to team leads/supervisors/management any concerns and actively identifies and implements improvements
  • Maintain daily housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate basic hand/power tools and read measuring devices
  • Advanced ability to read/interpret blueprints electrical schematics and other instructions
  • Quality knowledge/experience
  • Advanced 5S/Safety knowledge
  • Training: LeanS MS Office familiarity
  • Ability to distinguish wire gauges and types
  • Effective communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Crane certified

Physical Demands:

  • Must lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis
  • Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Continuous lifting kneeling pulling bending etc.
