Job Summary
Are you passionate about providing care and support to individuals in their own homesGriswold Home Care for Medina Wayne & Western Stark Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
About the Caregiver Role:
As an In-Home Caregiver you will provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes. You will play a vital role in ensuring their well-being and comfort. This companionship andcaregiving position hasflexible schedulingwithafternoon shifts available. Clients typically receive 4 hours of care and at times longer shifts may be available.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing grooming and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
- Administer medication reminders
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands
Requirements:
- Preferred 1 yrs caregiving and mechanical liftexperience butwe are willing to train you.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
