Job Description Summary:
This position requires an environmental test technician to support a wide variety of environmental testing in a dynamic laboratory. Candidate will require expert knowledge to assist and operate maintain and troubleshooting facility equipment. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing technical documentation (calibration preventive maintenance drawings and procedures).Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Performs cleaning maintenance and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
Operates complex equipment in the production of hardware using complex manual skills with training and limited supervision..
Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.
Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.
Skills/Abilities
Able to communicate written and verbally.
Able to use Microsoft office applications.
Able to perform manual labor and operate automated and semi-automated equipment.
Education
Graduate from a 2 year technical school or applicable years of experience.
Experience
Either two years of applicable technical education and two years of applicable experience or four years of applicable experience meets the minimum requirement.
Additional Job Description:
Experience supporting electro-mechanical systems and complex integration and test activities with 2 years of experience. Must be experienced and skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Must possess strength stamina and dexterity to perform strenuous assignments at times. Must have excellent communication and collaborative skills organized detailed oriented and dedicated to following and complying with procedures including: Military & Aerospace compliance standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required. Experience with test and data acquisition software is strongly preferred.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Secret Clearance is required.

$43.73 - $43.73Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreements approved rates by location and role.
