We are looking for a Practice Manager (12-month fixed-term) to lead and support Childrens Services Emergency Duty Team.
The Practice Manager leads the Childrens Services Emergancy Duty Team ensuring the team delivers professional and timely responses to urgent social care needs outside normal office hours. They provide guidance and support to senior social workers social workers case workers and other team members fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. The role involves managing the teams rota ensuring sufficient coverage overseeing performance and quality and managing resources and budgets all while making sure decisions align with statutory requirements and County Council policies. The Practice Manager also approves staff expenses acts as a bridge between daytime and out-of-hours services and provides support during major incidents helping the department respond effectively when it matters most.
