We are seeking a Senior Underwriting professionalfor an exciting opportunity within the Financial Lines business this role you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio focused onFinancial Institutions.

What you need to know:

The ability to offer profitable coverage and terms that effectively meet the diverse needs of customers across various products
Responsible for a book of new and renewal business
Regularly visits brokers and attends client meetings
Provides training and mentoring to less experienced underwriters
Stays current on industry and market trends
Coverage analysis of manuscript forms with the ability to tailor them to specific client needs
Pricing analysis using data analytics and modeling tools
Ability to cross-sell amongst the organization
Ability to make presentations and communicate articulately
Achieve assigned budget targets
Maintain profitability

What we are looking for

Minimum 3 to4 years of Financial Lines experience managing a large and complex book of business from multiple brokers
In depth knowledge of Financial Institutions management liability and professional liability insurance products and concepts
Post-Secondary Education OR equivalent industry education and experience
Experience developing and maintaining a broad network of brokerage relationships
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines following company guidelines as well as in a team-oriented approach to accomplish goals
Strong analysis and decision-making skills
The candidate will possess a strong drive to succeed
