SHIFT SUPERVISOR
JOB SUMMARY:
TH Plastics Inc. a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Tifin Ohio molding division.
JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for directing and supporting all supervisors material handlers and mold setters.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 2nd Shift 3:00PM 11:20PM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of 5 years experience in injection molding
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- Must have the ability to manage projects and have strong organizational communication skills
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(The following list does not include all duties and responsibilities)
- Follows the defined startup procedures as outlined by the Process Engineer
- Communicates issues with fellow Shift Superintendents/Shift Supervisors at shift change
- Ensures that all Quality Procedures are being followed
- Processes and verifies documentation at startup which includes filling out PV sheets
- Ensures that all process documentation is completed throughout the entire shift
- Evaluates machinery for capability and generate Work Orders for issues identified
- Manages and monitors IQMS real time on production machines:
- Full Cavitations
- Cycle at Standard
- Scrap review and reduction
- Provides and receives ongoing training and facilitate continues improvement activities
- Regular on-site attendance
