Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Unit Secretary/Radiology Aide
As a Unit Secretary/Radiology Aide at MercyOne you will combine clerical support with patient assistance in the Radiology Department. Responsibilities typically include:
Clerical Duties:
Serve as receptionist for the Radiology unit.
Schedule diagnostic imaging tests and maintain patient records.
Transcribe physician orders and enter data into hospital systems.
Answer phones and communicate professionally with patients families and staff.
Patient Support:
Transport patients equipment and supplies to and from the department.
Assist patients with positioning dressing/undressing and basic comfort needs under technologist supervision.
Ensure patient safety during transfers and procedures.
Schedule:
Full Time
36 hours/week
Day shifts
General Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
Medical terminology knowledge preferred..
