Job Summary
RGL Logistics is looking for a forward thinking collaborative and team oriented Accounting Manager to join our team!
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all core financial systems and processes across RGL. Leads the Accounting Team and manages all accounting operations to ensure accuracy compliance and strategic alignment. Drives the execution of key financial reporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives. Supports the organizations financial integrity and contributes to long-term planning. Helps strengthen RGLs financial systems both internally and externally.
Essential Functions of the Accounting Manager:
- Lead and manage the Accounting Team to ensure timely and accurate financial operations
- Oversee all core accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and month-end close
- Ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and support audit readiness
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support cross-functional teams with financial insights and reporting tools
- Manage relationships with external auditors tax advisors and financial institutions
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems and processes for efficiency and scalability
- Stay current with industry best practices accounting standards and compliance requirements
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for accounting staff completing monthly one on ones
- Perform other related duties to support RGLs financial health and operational goal
Preferred Education Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in accounting 5 years experience
- 3-5 years leadership of direct reports required
- Strong collaborative and influencing skills challenge the status quo
- Excellent attention to detail organizational skills
