We are looking for:
Veterinary Pharmacy Technician
ThePharmacy Technician isaccountablefor the day-to-daypharmacyoperations tasks tosupport patient care. This individualis responsible forordering receiving rotation dispensing and accountability of the pharmacy inventory.
Whatyoulldo:
- Fulfill all patient prescription requests
- Verify client/patient information isaccurate
- Maintain Medical records
- Accurately count and fill prescriptions
- Communicate prescription instructions to external pharmacies
- Maintain inventory stock and tracking data on in-house medications
- Participate in cycle counts and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Stock medications in the pharmacywith correct labels and expirations
- Responsible formanagingblood inventory
- Comply withregulatory agencies requirements
- Complete assigned projects
Who you are:
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician or experienced veterinary assistant preferred
- Work successfully as a team member and autonomously
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to be detailed oriented quality focused and self-motivated
- Demonstrates sense of urgency
- Flexibility with work hourswith the ability to workadditionalhoursweekendsand holiday asnecessary
- Must be competent utilizing Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to learn industry-specific program
