We are seeking an experienced Senior Cook to join our cafeteria team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations ensure high-quality food preparation and maintain a clean safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent meals and service.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cook and serve a variety of hot and cold menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Lead and train kitchen staff ensuring food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
Plan and coordinate meal production to meet service times and minimize waste.
Monitor food inventory order supplies and assist with menu planning.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with management to improve food quality and service efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum 35 years of cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen preferably in a cafeteria or institutional setting.
Knowledge of food safety handling and sanitation standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable working in a hot or busy kitchen environment.
