Working across a large portfolio and multiple banners with a diverse set of programs
Manage the design process interfacing with internal and external design partners
Responsible for building data driven scope of work with internal stake holders focused on servicing operating stores
Responsible for development of FF&E and Décor packages
Work with key internal and external stakeholders in the development and production of comprehensive design development packages
Create presentation packages to communicate design with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Drive and create Schematic Design Packages
Coordinate with Construction Procurement and Operations Teams on budget and schedule considerations and value engineering efforts
Manage consultants throughout all phases of design through the project lifecycle
Provide Construction Administrative support as needed
Archive completed drawings redlines and shop drawings
Obtain landlord approvals per lease requirements
Review and approves submittals and shop drawings
Demonstrated ability in building and health codes 3D visualization and industry trends
The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication organization time management and problem-solving skills
The ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced ambiguous environment

The Amazon Worldwide Retail Growth & Development Enterprise Team leads the transformation of our existing multi-banner grocery locations through strategic remodels and innovations. We enhance the shopping experience by modernizing store layout improving operational efficiency and implementing the latest technology all while stores remain open for business. Our customer-obsessed design approach focuses on creating seamless shopping experiences for both in-store and online customers while ensuring our operations teams can work safely and efficiently during and after remodels. We specialize in executing complex renovations that elevate the Amazon experience across our established store network.
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in architecture or interior design 5 years of commercial retail design or architecture experience Intermediate Revit skills required
- Grocery experience strongly preferred Architectural or Interior Design FF&E background preferred Adobe Suite Bluebeam Enscape SketchUp SmartSheet Knowledge of current sustainability trends and practices preferred Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish Ability to manage change though multiple projects in various phases of design Experience with design development construction documents permitting and construction administration Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced ambiguous environment.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
