This is a role for an experienced psychologist who values both clinical excellence and people leadership. Youll balance a small meaningful caseload with time to coach supervise and strengthen your team. Working closely with the Executive Manager Psychology and Operations Manager Psychology youll play a key part in developing a service thats trusted trauma-informed and built on evidence-based care.
This is a full-time permanent role we are open to part-time four days per week. We have office locations at Bella Vista Alexandria Liverpool Gledswood Hills and Peakhurst.
What youll do
- Lead and mentor a passionate team of provisional and registered psychologistswho deliver assessments and individual and group interventions for children and families across schools and service centres.
- Foster a reflective collaborative team culture that prioritises wellbeing and outcomes.
- Provide clinical oversight supervision and professional development.
- Contribute to service design and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a manageable caseload to stay connected to the clinical work that matters.
- Shape caseloads that balance client needs with your teams growth ensuring meaningful diverse and sustainable workloads.
- Help shape a service where care is personal children feel safe and progress is celebrated.

About you
- Registered Psychologist (AHPRA) with an area of endorsement (desirable but not essential).
- Experience mentoring or supervising psychologists with AHPRA Board-approved Supervisor status highly regarded.
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments (desirable).
- Passion for evidence-based trauma-informed and strengths-focused practice that supports childrens wellbeing.
- Confidence in leading peer supervision and clinical reflection.
- Desires to maintain a small purposeful caseload aligned with your expertise and career goals
- Values collaboration empathy and clinical excellence
