Job Summary
Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Location: Gastonia North Carolina
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 4x10-Hour Days 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
On-Call: Every 5th weekend and 1 weekday per week
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Gastonia NC. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and clinical skills in cardiac catheterization procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Prepare operate and maintain cath lab imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data.
Float as needed to pre- and post-cardiac units.
Participate in on-call rotation per schedule requirements.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
ARRT RCIS or equivalent national certification required.
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab experience preferred.
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
