An Am Law 200 law firm with a strong national platform and full-service private client practice seeks a Tax Trusts & Estates Associate to join its Miami Palm Beach or New York offices. The firm represents high-net-worth individuals families and fiduciaries in sophisticated estate planning tax structuring and trust administration matters.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex multijurisdictional matters in a collegial environment that prioritizes excellence professional growth and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on estate planning wealth transfer tax-efficient structuring and trust and estate administration.
Draft wills trusts powers of attorney and related documents.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex federal and state tax issues.
Collaborate with partners and team members to develop customized planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Support clients with tax filings audits and compliance as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
3 years of experience in trusts and estates and/or tax planning.
LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning strongly preferred.
Bar admissionFlorida or New York required.
Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Commitment to professional excellence and exceptional client service.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $225000 $315000 based on experience.
