Guidewire Digital & Mainframe Functional Tester

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Job Title: Guidewire Digital and mainframe functional
Job Summary: We are seeking a senior QA Specialist with strong knowledge in Guidewire Digital and mainframe functional testing

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Digital Testing: Utilize Digital portals to perform testing on insurance applications ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
. Guidewire Expertise: Utilize Guidewire software to perform testing on insurance applications ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
. Legacy Expertise: Utilize Legacy Mainframe UI to perform testing on insurance applications ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
. Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results identify bottlenecks and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
. Collaboration: Work closely with development operations and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans scripts results and recommendations also JIRA QE boards. Qualifications:
. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
. Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Guidewire Digital and Mainframe testing with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Guidewire functional testing.
o Proficiency in Digital functional testing
o Experience in mainframe testing
. Soft Skills:
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
o Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications:
. Experience with cloud-based environments and testing.
. Certification in Guidewire Digital and Mainframe testing or related areas.
. Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
