Intake Coordinator - Detox and Residential Services
Reports to: Milieu Manager
Job Category: Hourly Non-Exempt Full-Time
Starting Salary: $21.20-$25.76 per hour (DOE and certifications)
Job Site: Foundry Front Range - Broomfield office
Job Summary:
The Intake Coordinator is a key member of the Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) Team responsible for welcoming and processing new clients entering the detox and residential treatment programs. This position ensures each client is admitted safely respectfully and in accordance with company policy and state regulations. The Intake Coordinator facilitates the intake process from arrival through program orientation working collaboratively with clinical medical and operations staff to provide a smooth transition into care.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum one year of experience in a behavioral health detox or residential treatment setting.
- Prior experience performing UA testing client searches or admissions in a treatment environment.
- Previous BHT experience preferred.
- CAT preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid non-restricted Colorado drivers license.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Current CPR certification or ability to gain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to listen well and offer solutions.
- Results driven with a proven track-record of meeting and exceeding defined goals.
- Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive and high-stress situations.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to think creatively and share ideas.

- Knowledge of industry and trauma-integrated care.
- Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations EHR system.
- Working knowledge of confidentiality laws client rights and safety procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet and receive clients upon arrival for detox and residential admission.
- Complete all intake procedures including:
- Gathering identification insurance and required documentation.
- Reviewing and completing intake forms and consent paperwork.
- Conducting client searches and securing personal belongings per NRT policy.
- Administering urine analysis (UA) screenings and documenting results accurately.
- Enter client data into the electronic health record (EHR) system promptly and accurately.
- Communicate client admission status to the Milieu Manager Medical and Clinical teams.
- Maintain safety professionalism and compassion when engaging with clients in crisis or early recovery.
- Ensure the intake area remains clean organized and aligned with infection control and safety standards.
- Support the BHT and Milieu teams with shift coverage and client monitoring as directed.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to facility policies and procedures State & Federal law and accrediting agency regulations and standards.
- Schedule flexibility required including evenings weekends or holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standing sitting bending reaching.
- Must be able to see hear talk read write type.
- Exposure to clinical and medical environments.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Driving in all weather conditions.
