Job Summary and Responsibilities
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to join our dynamic laboratory team. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for patient care and a commitment to accuracy we encourage you to apply.
- Demonstrated experience with laboratory instrumentation and methodologies across various departments (e.g. Chemistry Hematology Microbiology Immunohematology).
- Ability to work effectively in the Blood Bank
- Proficiency in performing complex laboratory tests analyzing results and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Strong understanding of quality control quality assurance and laboratory safety protocols.
- Excellent critical thinking problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in an acute care facility required.
- Bachelors Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA
- Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required.
- A current Los Angeles County fire card is required.
