Methodist Hospital is home to a 158-bed acute care facility with 1120 employees 283 medical staff and 29 Emergency Department beds.

The Outpatient Surgery Nurse provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem-solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

This position will primarily be located at the Outpatient Surgery Center (Wymark Drive). Must float to the main OR as needed.

Minimum:

• Current California RN license
• One (1) year of Operating room experience in an acute care setting as an RN
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
