Role Overview
Were looking for a mid-level Front-End Developer with strong experience in Ruby on Rails front-end integration and Bootstrap CSS (not Tailwind). This is a hands-on role focused on translating Figma designs into responsive production-ready views and enhancing the user experience across an existing Rails-based platform.
Youll collaborate directly with a technically strong CTO who appreciates autonomy clear written communication and steady delivery over frequent meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and refine front-end features in a Ruby on Rails application using Bootstrap.
- Translate Figma layouts into functional responsive and maintainable UI components.
- Ensure consistency accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the CTO for technical feedback and progress updates.
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code following best practices.
- Manage version control through Git and standard CI/CD workflows.
Hard Skills Required
- Strong working knowledge of Ruby on Rails front-end structure (not back-end Ruby dev).
- Advanced Bootstrap experience (layout utilities responsive design).
- Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience implementing Figma designs into live environments.
- Ability to set up and run a local Rails environment.
- Proficiency in Git workflows.
- Excellent written English communication.
