Job Summary
Would you like to teach in a dynamic Manchester primary as a KS2 Teacher from January 2026 The school is open to a part-time or full-time KS2 Teacher with planning and induction scheduled before and in January 2026 and class teaching beginning in January 2026. This KS2 Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner who enjoys curriculum design assessment for learning and leading engaging upper-key-stage-two lessons.
A week in the life - KS2 Teacher
Mornings: the KS2 Teacher delivers structured mathematics and English sequences as the KS2 Teacher focusing on reasoning retrieval and writing craft. Afternoons: the KS2 Teacher leads foundation projects practical science and enrichment as the KS2 Teacher. Outside contact time the KS2 Teacher plans moderates and supports transition activities - all preparation beginning before January 2026 and continuing after January 2026.
KS2 Teacher Responsibilities
The KS2 Teacher will: plan and deliver high-quality knowledge-rich lessons as the KS2 Teacher; use robust assessment to inform next steps as the KS2 Teacher; lead interventions and contribute to phase moderation as the KS2 Teacher. The KS2 Teacher will prepare evidence and reports in advance of review meetings scheduled after January 2026.
KS2 Teacher Requirements
We are looking for a qualified KS2 Teacher with QTS/PGCE or equivalent secure practice across Key Stage 2 and strong subject knowledge. The KS2 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and begin teaching from January 2026. The KS2 Teacher should be collaborative reflective and committed to high standards.
