About the Role

We are seeking a Criminal Defense Paralegal to join our Rolling Meadows office. This is an on-site administrative role not research-intensive ideal for someone who thrives on organization follow-through and efficient communication. Youll play a vital role in managing client files preparing discovery and supporting attorneys in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and organize client files from intake to resolution.
Draft mitigation letters and assist with discovery organization.
Coordinate with clients courts prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.
Track and maintain case calendars and deadlines.
Ensure accurate document filing correspondence and case progress tracking.
Support attorneys in meeting KPI targets.
Download organize and review physical discovery including video evidence

Qualifications

1 year of Paralegal Experience.
Prior experience in criminal defense or litigation is a plus.
Knowledge of Illinois criminal court procedures and e-filing systems preferred.
Excellent communication organization and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.
