Title: Backend Developer (Java) 117644

About the Role

Were seeking a Backend Java Developer to join an enterprise engineering team focused on building scalable high-performance systems. Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (version 17 or higher).
Work with Spring Boot Maven/Gradle and related frameworks to deliver well-structured testable software.
Implement and maintain integrations across distributed systems using event-driven architectures and messaging tools such as Kafka.
Build and optimize data persistence layers using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Write and execute unit integration and contract tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
Participate in CI/CD workflows-deploying monitoring and supporting services through automated pipelines.
Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues across multiple environments.
Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews with a focus on scalability performance and maintainability.

Qualifications

3 6 years of hands-on experience with Java 17 development.
Solid understanding of Spring Boot Maven/Gradle and modern Java frameworks.
Proven experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
Strong working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with Junit and consumer-driven contract testing practices.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar).
Excellent problem-solving debugging and communication skills.
