Job Summary

An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified Plumber Serviceman to join a well-established mining operation in Rustenburg. This role is ideal for a hands-on skilled individual with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Requirements:

Recognized Trade Certificate in Plumbing.
Completed Logbook/Training Modules (proof required).
Valid Exit Medical Certificate from a recognized medical facility.
Proven experience in plumbing within a mining or industrial environment.
Sound knowledge of plumbing systems maintenance procedures and relevant safety standards.
Physically fit and medically cleared to work in a mining environment.
Reliable detail-oriented and capable of working independently or within a team.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation maintenance and repair of water drainage and sanitation systems across the site.
Inspect and identify plumbing issues leaks and blockages ensuring timely and effective repairs.
Install and repair pipes valves pumps geysers and fixtures according to industry and site standards.
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all plumbing systems are in optimal working condition.
Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) regulations and internal safety protocols.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment ensuring proper use and storage of tools and materials.
