City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Casual Cleaner to join our Civic Services team. This is unique opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of one of Newcastles most iconic venues. Here your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live work and play.
In this role you will deliver high-quality in-house cleaning services within all assigned areas of the Civic Theatre building including outside areas. Duties will include routine and event-based cleaning duties including pre- and post-performance and callback cleaning between shows.
Youll follow safe work practices in accordance with WHS standards and plan your daily tasks to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency while minimising the disruption to staff customers and visitors. The role is integral to maintaining a positive and professional image of the Civic Theatre while contributing to the health and well-being of everyone on the premises.
