Physics Teacher (DP)

ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Education Group is seeking a talented well-qualified and inspirational IB Diploma Programme (DP) Physics Teacher to join one of our schools in Milan from August 2026.

The successful candidate will teach IB DP Physics and contribute to the continued development of a high-performing Science Department within a dynamic internationally minded IB World School environment. • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in IB DP Physics ensuring lessons are engaging inquiry-based and meet IB standards.
• Prepare students thoroughly for IB external assessments and support them in achieving outstanding academic outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Science Department and across disciplines to enhance curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning.
• Differentiate instruction and provide targeted support for students whose first language is not English.
• Participate fully in school life including meetings professional development and relevant extracurricular activities.
• Uphold and model the values of the IB Learner Profile and the Inspired Education ethos.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Essential

• Legal right to live and work in Italy or an EU passport.
• Degree in Physics (or closely related field) and recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience including proven success preparing students for IB external examinations.
• In-depth knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme Physics curriculum.
• Strong practical laboratory skills and the ability to make physics exciting and accessible.
• Excellent classroom management communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment and supporting multilingual learners.

Preferred

• Experience in an international or multicultural school setting.
• Specific expertise or prior success delivering IB DP Physics.
• Familiarity with English as an Additional Language (EAL) strategies.
