Job Title: Music Therapist (Classroom & Clinic-Based)
Reports To: Clinical Director Preschool Director
Classification: Non-Exempt Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Hourly Rate: $30-36/hour DOE

Includ(Ed) is seeking a creative and compassionate Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to serve in a dual role equally split between:
Music Exploratory Teacher within our inclusive early childhood classrooms
Clinic-Based Music Therapist providing services to young children and families.
This full-time position is ideal for a highly collaborative therapist who thrives in both group and 1:1 settings and who is passionate about using music to foster communication connection regulation and joy.
Classroom-Based Responsibilities (Approx. 12-16 hours/week)
Design and lead engaging music exploratory sessions for children ages 05 in inclusive classroom setting
Collaborate with classroom teachers therapists and inclusion staff to align music activities with developmental goals
Support classroom routines (e.g. transitions greetings) through music-based strategies
Attend weekly team meetings to discuss student progress and shared goals
Support whole-school events celebrations and family engagement opportunities with music as a unifying tool
Clinic-Based Responsibilities (Approx. 24 hours/week)
Provide a minimum of 16 client-facing hours/week of music therapy to young children with a range of developmental needs
Develop and implement individualized music therapy treatment plans aligned with each childs developmental therapeutic and family-centered goals
Conduct regular assessments and maintain timely detailed documentation for all services
Communicate effectively with families caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care
Participate in case consultations and therapist collaboration meetings
Board Certification (MT-BC) required
Bachelors or Masters degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-accredited program
Minimum 1 year experience working with young children in educational or clinical settings (preschool or early intervention preferred)
Strong skills in songwriting instrument use and adapting music for diverse abilities
Comfort working in both group and 1:1 environments with and without co-therapists or teaching staff
Passion for inclusion and commitment to family-centered culturally responsive care
