Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical ICU provides high-quality compassionate care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions in a critical care setting. This role is responsible for continuous patient assessment monitoring and implementation of individualized care plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. The RN collaborates with physicians interdisciplinary team members and families to deliver safe and effective patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Surgical ICU.

Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care based on clinical needs and established protocols.

Administer medications monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments and interventions.

Monitor and manage life-support equipment and other medical devices.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards.

Support and educate patients and families regarding care processes and recovery expectations.

Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice.
