TECHNOLOGYSERVICES SPECIALIST
- Bachelors Degree in Technology Business Administration or related field and two years experience preferred
- School-based experiences preferred (i.e. classroom or direct technology support).
- Demonstrated experience coordinating projects and managing contracts and vendor relations
- Skilled at leading and coordinating large projects and inventory management in a 1:1 environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats to both internal and external vested parties.
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and planning skills.
- Proactive reliable responsible and accurate with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a highly confidential environment.
- Experience in examining operations and procedures in order to improve technology services departmental outcomes and customer service.
- Proficient with MS Word Excel and Power Point
- Demonstrate and model professional demeanor resourcefulness and effective communication strategies with diverse groups.
- Strong knowledge base in cultural proficiency strategies and best practices.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Must have the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours as projects and schedules dictate
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.

SUPERVISES: Technology staff contractors and vendors as assigned
SALARY: Per the salary schedule for Grade successful candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefit package including Health Dental Vision and Life Insurance paid holidays vacation and sick days as well as any other applicable benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB GOAL: Work closely with members of the Technology Services team to provide leadership and coordination of technology operations projects and initiatives.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Director of Technology Services with department operations initiatives and goals.
- Maintain a strategic partnership with departments and building administrators to ensure high quality technology services processes in line with the districts strategic plan.
- Manage data systems including Phishing Training and Identity Management Systems
- Assis with gathering and monitoring the validity and reliability of data that is integrated into our systems.
- Manage assigned staff including district staff contractors and vendors.
- Participate in weekly Technology Services leadership and departmental meetings.
- Responsible for vendor relations and contract oversight.
- Coordination of Technology Services processes and initiatives.
- Coordination of team to support all facets of inventory and 1:1 management
- Support department staffing and work with technology administrators on all staffing postings interviews etc. and support.
- Provide timelines and progress reports on status and achievement of goals.
- Effectively identify and communicate staff and district needs/issues to support a timely resolution.
- Work closely with Technology Services team members to deliver a comprehensive technology program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology Services.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 12 month position
- 8 hours per day
- Salary and benefits as set by the Board of Education
