Shift: Nights
Shift Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am
Location/Division Specific Information:
As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) the High Point NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.
How Will You Make an Impact
The Medicine Associate II will be responsible for manufacturing a quality fill material for use in our encapsulation process.
A Day in the Life:
- Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs Batch Records cGMPs and MSDS memos.
- Retrieve weigh identify mix and store raw materials.
- Cleans equipment and performs all other cleaning duties in area.
- Manufactures Neat fills/blends and complex batches.
- Produces quality fill material including simple potent compounds for use in our encapsulation department utilizing multiple types of equipment and processes.
- May operate forklift.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing operations production lab setting or related field
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
- Preferred: Pallet Jack & Forklift experience
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to interpret data perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour 7 day per week operation.
- Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Close and color vision is required.
