Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the working environment is clean organized and safe for employees at all times. Understand and ensure team complies with all safety policies and basic safe work practices.

• Understand and enforce all company policies as they apply to the area of responsibility.

• Oversee and drive all production-related activities to ensure customer expectations and business goals are met.

• Understand monthly production plans / weekly schedules and allocate resources accordingly.

• Identify obstacles to achieving business goals and provide solutions or seek assistance.

• Responsible for the coordination of all departmental training including employee cross-training.

• Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Mfg Operations.

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred.

• Minimum 2 years manufacturing supervision preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience in an Engineer-to-order environment preferred.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing 5S and other world-class manufacturing concepts a plus.

Job Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Proven leadership skills/experience (ability to drive and motivate)

• Strong communication skills written and verbal.

• Strong organization skills

• Professionalism a must

• Team Player a must

• Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude a must.
