Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SQA Engineer to join our Quality
Assurance this role you will drive software quality across our products by
designing and implementing robust testing strategies leading automation initiatives and
collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring
high reliability performance and customer satisfaction for our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design implement and execute comprehensive test strategies across functional
performance security and usability aspects.
Perform advanced performance testing (load stress scalability) and identify optimization
opportunities.
Partner with developers product managers and DevOps to embed QA into CI/CD
pipelines.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA engineers including code
reviews and automation guidance.
Analyze quality metrics generate insightful reports and recommend improvements.
Continuously improve QA processes tools and best practices to align with modern
agile/DevOps methodologies.
Build and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium Appium Cypress etc.) and drive
high test coverage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Defect detection rate and leakage into production.
Automation coverage percentage and execution efficiency.
Performance and scalability metrics adherence.
On-time QA delivery aligned with sprint/release goals.
Team mentorship impact and process improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder satisfaction with QA collaboration and reporting.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
5 years of QA experience with proven expertise in automation and performance testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Azure DevOps) and cloud
environments.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira
Confluence).
Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
Certifications (ISTQB CSTE or equivalent) are a plus.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium Appium Cypress) and
scripting (Python/Java/JavaScript) is a plus.
