Job Summary
IMC is expanding its Power & Gas trading business in Aarhus Europes hub for energy markets. We are building a dynamic technology-driven trading team combining IMCs 30 years of global trading experience with a local entrepreneurial setup. As a Trading Graduate you will be part of a high-energy environment where analytical thinking meets real-time decision-making. Youll receive structured training mentorship and direct exposure to live market trading.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Learn and apply trading fundamentals across European power and gas markets
- Analyse real-time market data to support trading decisions
- Contribute to strategy development by combining quantitative insights with market intuition
- Participate in rotation across Power and Gas desks
- Work closely with Traders Quants and Developers to test new tools and trading logic
- Take ownership of projects improving market data analytics and trading performance
Your Skills and Experience
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Mathematics Physics Engineering Computer Science Econometrics or Finance
- Strong numerical reasoning and problem-solving ability
- Curious competitive and comfortable working under pressure
- Excellent communicator with a growth mindset and team-first attitude
- Eligible to work in Europe and available full-time in Aarhus
