Ayurvedic Doctor
Requirements
A recognized Bachelors Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
Valid registration with the Ayurvedic Medical Council of Sri Lanka.
Minimum of two years experience as a practicing Ayurvedic Doctor preferably within hospitality or wellness resort settings.
In-depth knowledge of Panchakarma and other traditional Ayurvedic therapies.
Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages will be an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment while maintaining the highest standards of client care and confidentiality.
Scope
Conduct comprehensive Ayurvedic consultations to assess and diagnose guest health conditions.
Develop and customize treatment plans and wellness packages aligned with Ayurvedic principles.
Prescribe appropriate herbal medicines dietary guidelines and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with therapists and spa staff to ensure consistency and quality of treatments.
Educate guests on the fundamentals of Ayurveda preventive care and holistic living.
Uphold the highest standards of hygiene safety and compliance with relevant health regulations.
Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records and monitor guest progress throughout their wellness journey.
