Job Responsibilities
As a Parts Department Associate youll play a key role in keeping our service operations running seamlessly:
- Oversee the full parts sales process
- Communicate with customers and team members professionally and clearly.
- Provide accurate updates on parts status.
- Read and interpret our parts catalog while assisting customers and technicians.
- Answer phone calls provide price quotes and assist with parts inquiries.
- Review body shop estimates for accuracy.
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill parts orders keeping stock organized and accurate.
- Notify the parts manager of low or out-of-stock items.
- Source parts from outside vendors when needed.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed.
- Process customer payments or secure credit authorization.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (prior auto parts sales experience preferred)
- Familiarity with automobiles is helpful but not required
- A positive attitude and eagerness to grow in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Compensation
- Ranges $19-$27.75 per hour depending on experience.
