Job Summary
Work for an environmental firm based in Central New Jersey as a Geologist/Environmental Scientist.
Geologist/Environmental Scientist
Responsibilities:
- Manages and oversees soil borings monitoring well installations test pitting and general waste management activities
- Works in the office or the field to fulfill overall project needs
- Performs other project related duties as assigned by Manager
- Prepares remediation reports/plans and specifications to determine the most appropriate remediation solutions to problems
- Prepare Phase I ESA/PA reports
Requirements:
- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering Geology or related field
- Must have OSHA 40 hour Hazwoper and up to date on 8 hour Refresher Training
- Must have excellent technical writing delegation and time management skills
- General knowledge of LSRP program and willingness to review and ability to comprehend NJDEP guidance
- Ability to draft precise documentation
- Phase I ESA experience preferred
- Must have a clean driving record & reliable car
Salary Range: $70000-$90000/year
