Description

The State Capitol Police Department is seeking applications for a part-time opening. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and possess a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in sworn law enforcement corrections full-time professional fire service or military service. The hours vary by shift. The selection process will consist of a resume review oral interviews and a thorough background investigation. Applicants must possess a valid M.V. operators license. Pay is $22.15/hr.

Examples of Duties

Employees assist State Capitol Police Officers. They also assist the public with directions and other questions and interact with staff and legislators.
