The Location

The Terraces a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast as well as several shopping centres schools public transport restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.

The Role

Bolton Clarke The Terraces is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Lifestyle Assistant to join our team.

This Casual position is ideal for someone who is passionate about enriching the lives of older Australians through meaningful activities and social interaction.

• Support our Lifestyle team in planning and running recreational programs
• Engage with residents to create a fun vibrant and inclusive environment
• Contribute to residents wellbeing through companionship and participation in activities

About You

• Previous experience working in aged care
• Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is highly desirable
• Current First Aid Certificate (with CPR)
• Fun bubbly and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships and actively involve residents in daily programs
• Youll also have a genuine passion to work with the elderly
• Fabulous communication and team work skills and basic computer skills
• NDIS Worker Screen
