Job Summary
2 years of current experience required. Responsible for assisting the Surgical Team in our Main ORs during operative procedures by performing a variety of technical duties to primarily assist in responsibility for the preparation maintenance and protection of the surgical sterile field for the operative patient. Responsible for the provision of patient care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Perform Certified Surgical Technologist duties according to scope of practice designated by our facility by acting as a scrub assistant and assisting the surgeon as needed. Experience in ensuring sterility of supplies during the set-up of surgical procedures breakdown of sterile as well as unsterile supplies for surgical cases will vital to maintaining a healthy operating room. Required to assist with turning over of operating rooms to ensure proper on-time starts of procedures. BLS(AHA)
