Barista Winter 2526

The Barista prepares and serves espresso-based and other coffee drinks food or other beverages to guests by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following other duties may be assigned)

• Processes orders in Point of Sale and serves customers in a professional energetic and friendly manner.
• Accepts payment processes credit cards room charges discounts and cash.
• Itemizes and totals check for service or totals takeout transaction on cash register and accepts payment.
• Prepares coffee espresso take-out sandwiches smoothies and salads.
• Stocks and replenishes condiments plastic wear and napkins.
• Restocks display case and maintains rotation of stock.
• Assists manager or supervisor in transferring stock from freezers/refrigerator.
• Cleans counters ovens refrigerators and display cases.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor which could be directly related or unrelated to original position.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent customer service skills required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
