Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse Oncology

Location: Cumming Georgia
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 4x10-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate: $2407 Weekly Gross

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment at a leading healthcare facility in Cumming Georgia. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient-centered care to oncology patients while ensuring adherence to safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
Administer chemotherapy and related medications safely and accurately.
Monitor patient progress record observations and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatments and side effects.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Adhere to all safety infection control and confidentiality policies.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Oncology nursing.
Certifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Georgia or Compact).
- BLS Certification (required).
- Chemotherapy Certification (required).
Skills: Strong communication patient advocacy and clinical assessment skills.
System Experience: Familiarity with major EMR systems preferred.

Holiday Requirements:

Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day or New Years Day)
AND
1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve or New Years Eve).
